Due to our expert knowledge of the hardware used on doors we will be able to identify and fix any issues you may be facing. We replace all parts of hardware found on your door including; handles, door cylinders, mechanisms, letterboxes, receiver plates and hinges. We will even realign the door to ensure it is hung correctly.

Most uPVC doors come with standard security locks fitted from the factory. Here at Mullocks Locks we can upgrade the security of your doors and windows by fitting products like high security door cylinders, sash jammers, patlocks and laminated glass to ensure that your home safe and secure.

Q. IS THERE A CALL OUT CHARGE?A. We offer a free, no-obligation quote service, meaning there is no call-out charge inside of operating hours, which are 8:30 AM—5 PM. However, there is a standard call-out fee of £75 plus the price of labour and parts outside of operating hours, so if it is not an emergency, book inside operating hours to reduce the price.

Q. DO YOU TAKE A DEPOSIT FOR EVERY JOB?A. We only take deposits when replacing the glass. We take a 30% deposit on the job due to glass being a special order as it is all cut to size and is non-returnable.

Q. DO YOU OFFER A FULL WINDOW AND DOOR INSTALLATION SERVICE?A. No—we only offer a uPVC door and window repair service for any faulty hardware and glass unit replacements.

Q. DO YOUR SERVICES COME WITH A GUARANTEE?A. Yes, each service we offer comes with a different guarantee. Our glass units come with a 5-year guarantee if they fail and become misty, but this does not include breakages. Any door and window hardware supplied comes with a 1-year guarantee.

Q. HOW MUCH WILL THE PARTS COST?A. We cannot give estimates over the phone without first seeing the job, as factors such as there are plenty of different types of window and door manufacturers and profiles out there which do not have the same hardware fitted to them. For example, the cost for a new lock on a uPVC door will change depending on size, make, model, and the level of security that lock has. With this being said, we offer a free, no-obligation quote so I can find out what is needed for the job and how much it will cost.

Q. HOW WILL I BE ABLE TO PAY?A. We accept payment in cash or by bank transfer, but we ask that payment be made in full upon job completion.
